In addition to being the designer and creator of Jamila Jo Accessories I am also pursuing my Master of Interior Design. After reading Tom Peter’s article I’ve been back on the grind to not only brand Jamila Jo - the accessories line but also Shani Syphrett - the interior designer. Above is my flavors.me page (a work in progress). If you don’t already know flavors.me provides homepages that allow you to integrate most social networking sites into one place. They offer free and low priced pages. What’s your flavor?
Fellow interior designer Niki Mckneill was gracious enough to do our first feature over at her design blog SingleBubblePop. I can’t explain how exciting it was to see it this morning. Thanks Niki! Check it out here
Etsy was where Jamila Jolie started and though Jamila Jo has moved on to another platform I still support my etsy roots. This crocheted dookie rope chain by Yokoo is hotter than the 100 degree temperature in New York City right now. Check out more of the designer’s stuff here: Yokoo’s Etsy Page
Monday Muse will be a weekly feature where I post personal style that inspires me whether it be fashion, art, interior design, or music.
Today’s muse is brought to you by Mitch G. of lookbook.nu. The floral pleplum skirt and leather sandals make a great outfit for a museum visit followed by lunch with the ladies or the significant other.
